Adult Education

Say not, ‘When I have free time I shall study,’ for you may
perhaps never have any free time

– Rabbi Hillel

Educational programming at Temple Tikvah offers opportunities for congregants to engage in learning and spiritual growth.

We are pleased to offer a range of learning options, from language to text to ritual practice, some ongoing and some just in one session. Find something or things that interest you, and make the time! We look forward to learning with you!

Torah study is held on Shabbat morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Discussion on the weekly parsha  (torah portion being read that week) is led by either Rabbi Sheinberg or Cantor Bonne’. No prior knowledge is required.

Once a month, on Saturday mornings after Torah Study, we hold a Learner’s Service followed by a Lunch n’ Learn program. This program is open to members of the congregation, as well as their friends and family, and the community. Participants are invited to lunch and learn from an array of talented educators offering presentations on a variety of topics of Jewish interest.
